GLENFIELD - Shane Michael Boshart, 39, died Monday, December 22, 2025 in the town of Watson.
Shane was born on September 26, 1986 in Lowville, NY the son of Kenneth J. Boshart, Jr. and Pamela Marie (Pomerville) Roggie. He attended School at South Lewis Central School and graduated from Beaver River Central School. Shane also graduated from Glenfield BOCES Forestry program where he learned running logging equipment and using a chainsaw. Shane worked for a couple local contractors as a carpenter, and was a past member of the Carpenters Union.
He is survived by his daughter, Kyra Nicole Dafoe; his parents, Kenneth J. (Karen) Boshart, Jr.; and Pamela M. (Allen Zehr) Roggie; his siblings, Brandon (Kristen) Boshart; Jared (Miranda) Boshart; Joshua Arthur; and Megan (Orion) Kelly; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Shane enjoyed the outdoors where he fished, kayaked, he loved animals especially his dog, Toredo.
Calling hours for family and friends will be on Tuesday, December 30th from 12 noon until 3:00pm at the Sundquist Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
