Shane Conor Fitzpatrick unexpectedly passed away at home, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the age of 22.
Shane was born on June 22, 2002 in Columbus Ohio to his loving, supportive parents Sean and Cindi Fitzpatrick. Shane also leaves behind; sister Sharon Fitzpatrick, partner Robin Trueman, brother Colin Fitzpatrick, sister-in-law Amber Fitzpatrick, and his beloved daughter Elana Fitzpatrick. In addition, Shane leaves behind his daughter’s mother, Taylor McPherson, his beloved grandmother, Laura Paul ( Cherokee Village, Arkansas), Aunt Heather Goettl, (Scottsdale, Arizona), Aunt Symphony Fitzpatrick, (Dublin, Oh), and Uncle Jeff Fisher, (Manseld, Oh). There are many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he adored. If Shane knew you were related, he immediately hugged and loved you forever. Shane was endeared by many of his family’s friends as well as his own. Shane was a kind, compassionate, gracious, empathetic, and loyal young man who touched the lives of everyone he knew. He had a tender heart and caring soul. Shane’s smile and laugh were infectious bringing joy to those around him. Shane loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for animals, cooking, celebrating holiday traditions, and eating ice cream.
Shane knew our Lord and Savior. We are confident we will hold him, and be with him again. Shane never doubted God’s love for him.
Shane was devoted to all of his family members and was especially proud to be a father. His legacy and free spirit will live on through Elana as she is blanketed in love by all of those he leaves behind.
Shane was immensely loved and will be terribly missed.
Funeral Services will be held this Friday December 6, 2024 at Shaw-Davis Clintonville Chapel: 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214. Calling hours will be from 3:00-5:30 pm with the service to follow.
