Shane Ring

Shane Daniel Ring was born 3/23/1994, and departed at age 31, 1/7/2026. Shane is survived by his parents Rain & Tim Ring, wife Rachel Moor, grandfather Dan Ring, Sister Sky, and nieces Senna & Sage. Shane was preceded in death by his uncle Rory, and his Grandmothers Ann & Gloria.

Shane was a well known and loved figure in the fishing community not just in his home town of Yacolt, Wa, but around the world. Shane established a thriving business in Pelican Alaska, Apex Lodge, and was committed to uplifting his friends and neighbors through this business with his unbridled generosity and kindness.

Shane always had an inkling that life would be short for him. This feeling fueled his fire for adventure and he climbed every mountain, fished every river, learned every skill, and made every memory that he could in his 31 years. Shane lived without limitations, and made his mark everywhere that he went.

Shane will be remembered, not as someone who lit up a room- but as the person who built the room itself with his bare hands and sheltered those he loved inside of it.
