Shane Theriot Obituary
Shane David Theriot passed away on February 13th, 2024 at the age of 48. He was a lifelong resident of Sorrento, La. He enjoyed anything that had to do with being outdoors, but what he loved the most was fishing. Shane also grew up playing sports, mostly which was baseball, as a pitcher throughout many organizations in Ascension Parish, one including the St. Amant High school baseball team, that went on to win the 1993 State Championship.
He is survived by his sister Shantell (James) Wilson; Aunts, Kim (Jay) Roberts, Anita Delhommer (Larry Donaldson); Uncles, Daryl (Cathleen) Melancon, Blaine (Ora) Melancon; his 3 neices, Jadyn Wilson, Ashlyn Wilson, Braelyn Wilson; his beloved dog, Bella and numerous family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Theriot, Jr. and Debra Melancon Theriot; his paternal grandparents, Earl Theriot, Sr. and Willie Mae Brignac Theriot; his maternal grandparents, Roland Melancon and Vera Achord Melancon.
A memorial service to celebrate Shane's life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at The Church International of St. Amant with visitation begining at 9am until service time at 11am.
