Shannon Radcliffe Obituary

Shannon D. Radcliffe

May 23, 1985 - October 3, 2025

AURORA - Shannon D. Radcliffe, 40 of Aurora passed away Friday, October 3, 2025. Born in Ithaca on May 23, 1985, she was the daughter of Sharon P. Neveu Radcliffe and the late Arthur W. Radcliffe and was a graduate of Southern Cayuga High School, Class of 2003.

While in school, Shannon excelled in soccer and track, accumulating many accolades and being named Captain of her teams. She was the nicest person, who was very well thought of and was a leader by example. Following high school, Shannon studied at the University of New Hampshire before moving back to the area to be closer to family. A lover of nature and all animals, she had a way of building relationships with children, especially while working at Wells College and their Recreational Programs.

She will be missed, but forever remembered by her mother, Sharon; her Aunt Carol Snover; Uncle Dale Snover; and two nephews.

In addition to her father, Shannon was predeceased by her brother, David.
