Shannon West Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes and Hedges Cemetery - Camdenton on Dec. 24, 2025.
Shannon L. West, age 48, passed away on December 22, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on January 7, 1977, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Gale and Lucy (Eidson) West. He was united in marriage to Anna Bierman on September 28, 2013.
Shannon lived life with a grin and a deep love for the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or spending hours perfecting his yard, he simply loved being outside. He took pride in his work and especially valued the time he spent working for his father in law Dennis Bierman, always wanting to do his best and make him proud in every way.
Above all else, Shannon loved his children. Being a dad was one of his greatest achievements and he showed that love through his constant presence, support, and humor. He was always there when his kids needed him offering help, guidance, and a laugh at just the right moment. His love for them was steady, unconditional, and something he carried with him every day.
Shannon is survived by his former wife, Anna West; his children, Brooke West and his son, Conner West; his mother, Lucy West; his siblings, Brian West (Karen), Jason West, and Tracy Willis; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Zachary West, and his father, Gale West.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in Tunas, Missouri.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020 (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
