Sharee Dee Ila McDaniels

Our much-loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend Sharee Dee Ila McDaniels departed this life Thursday evening January 11, 2024, after 86 wonderful years. She danced her way home to the arms of her Heavenly Father, after complications with her heart.
Sharee grew from a Farmington farm girl, to a softball star, a stylish fashion queen, a wonderful wife, and mother, and then a glamorous "Grandma Sharee". She has shown great love to her family, an example of faith in the Lord and extraordinary work ethic, and at 86 she was not even tired! She started working at the age of 18 and continued into her final days until just weeks ago.
Sharee spent many years as business manager for doctors and anesthesiologists for Holy Cross Hospital, 19 years at Auerbach's, ZCMI, Mier & Frank and Macy's department store in downtown Salt Lake City. She worked in cosmetics and women's fashion. Also, Sharee spent over 15 years working as a customer service security associate at the Salt Palace Convention Center. As well her full-time mother and grandmother duties!
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from our mom and Grandma Sharee during her 86 years. One of her most common quotes was; "Whatever it is, you just must face it, and don't ever be "naughty, naughty!" She encouraged kindness and positive thinking. She celebrated and loved decorating for every holiday, with Christmas being her favorite. And of course, we all will never forget our annual tin of Halloween popcorn. Sharee never missed a birthday, always sending out a Hallmark card. Also, she enjoyed her music, U of U football games, a game of scrabble and a good glass of wine. She was a gracious woman, extending kindness and a smile wherever she went. She participated in as much as she could for her kids and grandkids from recital's to sporting events and birthday celebrations.
Sharee is preceded in death by her parents, Captain Charles Robert and Jesse McDaniels, siblings Helen, Don, Gladys, Joanne, Margaret, Bob, Dixie, June, Elizabeth. Grant Pendelton, (married 1978 to 1984). Also, the love of her life, Kenneth B. deCondé, whom she married in 1959 and raised their three beautiful children.
She leaves behind her most precious blessings, her three children, Kevin M. Condé and (Margene), West Valley City, UT; Stuart W. Condé and (Eva), Logan, UT; Celeste Condé Salt Lake City, UT.,10 beautiful grandchildren, 36 Great grandchildren, and two Great-great grandchildren, who will continue to carry the gift and love for life she has given them. Sharee was a radiant light to everyone who knew her and she will be deeply missed.

An evening visitation for Sharee will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. A visitation prior to celebration of life will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. An interment will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024, 3401 S.
