Sharell Lou Martin, 89,of Salmon Creek, passed away Jan. 6, 2023. She was born Feb. 27, 1933 in Vancouver, WA.
She was a retired school bus driver and homemaker.
Sharell was preceeded in death by her brother Leon Jelsma, his wife Naomi; niece, Linda Jelsma; father, Lawrence Jelsma; mother, Pearl Jelsma; natural birth mother, Luella Meier, Vancouver, WA.
She is survived by her widower, Donald H. Martin Vancouver, WA; daughter, Christine M. Martin; son, Douglas R. Martin; and grandchildren, Joshua Martin Bulkley, Rebecca Iwata, Nicholas Martin, Christopher Martin, Tiffany Martin.
She was a Vancouver School District bus driver 1966-1991, square dancer 1969-2012, gardner, seamstress, nature lover, hiker, baker, hostess of uncountable meals for many. Meals on wheels, lover of family, lover and follower of Jesus Christ, her Lord and savior, Good Samaritan ministries, and much more.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to meals on wheels or open house ministries.
