Born on January 4, 1943, in the quaint town of Thompson, IA, Sharon was a woman of simplicity and warmth. On June 26, 1961, Sharon married her other half, Larry Gene Aase. Together they welcomed two daughters, Lisa and Lori.

Sharon was a dedicated custodian at the City of Albert Lea for 30 years, where she forged lasting friendships and was known for her hard work and kind spirit. Sharon was a devoted member of the Eagles in Albert Lea, where she found camaraderie and shared laughter. She will be remembered for her love of dance, and card games with friends. Throughout her life, Sharon treasured her time with family, friends, and cousins Terri, Donna, Jack, and JoAnn sharing special moments with lively casino days, laid-back home gatherings, and nonstop "coffee parties."

Left to cherish Sharon’s memory are her daughters, Lisa (Richard) Alcala, Lori Aase; grandchildren, Tom Fuentez-Aase, Tony Segura, Alex Alcala (Devin Whelan), Emilio De Los Santos(Makayla Hannegrefs-Dahlen)  , Adam Alcala; great-grandchildren; Alex Alcala Jr., Raelynn Fuentez, Vivian Fuentez; siblings, Ron Voshell, Bonnie Voshell, Gary (Kris) Voshell; special cousins, Terri McNelly, Donna Peterson, Jack (JoAnn) Jensen; cat companion, Lucy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
