Sharon Kaye Boettcher

Sharon Kaye Boettcher, 70, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 23, 2025. Sharon was born on February 8, 1955 in Cuero, Texas to her father James Pearson and mother June Vacek.

Sharon worked for LCISD as a child nutrition manager and retired in 2015 after 30+ years of caring and supporting each and every one of her students. Sharon knew everyone and everyone knew Sharon and if Sharon didn't know you, she would take the time to get to know you.

Sharon enjoyed cooking and baking, going out shopping, being outdoors camping, and spending her free time with her loved ones.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents James Pearson and June Vacek, stepfather Leonard Vacek, her brother Jimmy Pearson, her sister Linda Sandelovic and nephew Dereck Parker.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 53 years John Boettcher, her daughter Lori and son-in-law John Rieger, her son John Jr. and daughter-in-law Shana, grandchildren John Rieger, Caroline Rieger, ShayAnn Boettcher and Peyton Boettcher, as well as numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas with a burial to follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Rosenberg, Texas.
