Sharon Diann Bout passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in her home surrounded by loved ones in The Village, OK.
A closed memorial will be held in her honor on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Oklahoma City Cremation - 807 W Wilshire BLVD, OKC, OK 73116. Her immediate family will be in attendance, honoring and celebrating her life. Sherry Nolan, a beloved family friend, will be officiating. An acoustic rendition of Elton John’s Rocketman will be performed by her grandson, Maxim Bout, and a special tribute of Phil Collins' You’ll be in My Heart will be performed by her youngest son, Jordan Bout.
Sharon’s greatest joys in life were the love and company of her children and grandchildren, creating art, teaching children with disabilities, and, more than anything, she loved her savior, Jesus Christ. She spent her life moving from place to place, from Mississippi to Texas, back to Mississippi, to Arkansas, and finally to Oklahoma. Sharon cherished her years working in the ads at the newspaper in her early twenties, and in 2014, she decided to further her education to pursue her true passion and calling in life: to teach children with disabilities in early education. She taught in various institutions of education throughout her life and left an impression of kindness, patience, and care on so many children.
In her life, Sharon made many sacrifices for her children and did everything she could to make a good life for her kids. In her last years, she wanted her grandchildren to feel how much she loved and cherished them as they were her greatest loves in life.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, George Brooks; her grandmother, Christine Harrington; her brother, Michael Reeder; and her sister, Shirlee Johnson.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Shirley Bane; son Adam Bout, and daughter-in-law Jillian Bout; daughter Markii Landry and son-in-law Andrew Landry, son Jordan Bout, and daughter BriiAnna Bout, as well as her grandchildren, Cohen, Maxim, Sunny, Bowie, Julian, Lilou, Luca, and Charlotte.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the INTEGRIS Hospice care for the care and support provided by their team during this time.
