SHARON K. BROWN, age 76, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Larry for 55 years; cherished mother of Stacey Spehar (husband Daniel), Sandy Dunmire (husband Mark), Larry Brown, Jr., and her beloved daughter Stefanie Brown, who preceded her in death. She was a proud grandmother of Alyssa, Amanda, Kevin, Kaylee, Kristina, and Kamron; the treasured daughter of the late Rodney and Nadine (née Lutz) Baker; and the dear sister of Rodney Baker Jr. (wife Fran), as well as the late Norman Baker, Patricia Whiteman, and Sheldon Baker. Sharon was also a loving mother-in-law to Melissa Medves and a caring aunt and great-aunt to many.
Born on July 29, 1949, in Ashland, Ohio, Sharon moved with her family to Cleveland at an early age, where she made her lifelong home. On November 6, 1970, she married the love of her life, Larry, and together they shared countless adventures, endless laughter, and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Before dedicating herself to raising her family, Sharon worked at the Federal Building in downtown Cleveland. She later built a career at Heinen’s, where she worked faithfully until her retirement.
Sharon held her family closest to her heart. She loved their short visits to Mountaineer and their summer vacations in Ocean City, times that were always filled with laughter, relaxation, and joy. She especially treasured the moments spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet strength, and the love she shared so generously. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
