Sharon Faye Bruenderman, age 73, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home in Sikeston, MO, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 3, 1952, at Cairo, IL, to the late Herbert Stallings and Cora Marie Allensworth Stallings Simpson, she grew up in the Olive Branch, IL area and moved to Mississippi County with her family when she was in her teens. In 1979, she and her husband moved to Sikeston where they made their home. She had been employed as a certified nurse aide for a number of years at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and later as a supervisor at the Sheltered Workshop. Sharon was of Catholic belief and had formerly attended St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston.

On December 27, 1969, she married Frederick Joseph "Fred" Bruenderman who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her children, Lance Bruenderman and Leslie Bruenderman; her grandchildren, Garrett, Andrew, Lindsey, Blake and Dustin; three great grandchildren; brother, Darrell Stallings; sister, Patricia Scudder; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Ann Livingston; her brothers, Terry Stallings and Denny Stallings and her stepfather, William Howard Simpson and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward Joseph Bruenderman and Regina Carlisle Bruenderman.

Services will be conducted a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
