Sharon Jean Bush-Molthen passed October 18, 2025 in Winter Park, Florida. She was born October 5, 1938 and raised in Gouverneur, New York with her parents, Kathryn and George Bush, and her surviving brother, G. Michael Bush.

Sharon graduated from Cazenovia Junior College; an all women's college in Cazenovia, New York. Her first career was with Eastern Airlines as a flight stewardess, based in Boston.

Sharon met her husband, Theodore John, a young officer in the US Army, and the rest is history.… Sharon Jean is survived by her daughter, Kathleen, her son-in-law, Buddy, and her two sons, Timothy and Patrick. She has five beautiful granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, and two great-grand babies on the way.

Sharon was a woman of faith; she believed in the power of prayer, and she believed God was forever with us. Sharon had a tremendous heart for hospitality, laughter, and adventure. Most importantly, Sharon left us with high expectations to first love and lead family.

We will remember Sharon as a gourmet cook, who appreciated and enjoyed entertaining family and friends through fine food and drink. Especially as she grew older and had more time, dinners at Sharon's house were always a spectacular and beautiful feast.

Sharon was a world traveler. She was fearless, and unafraid to travel solo. From white water rafting in Patagonia to volunteering in Chile; from visiting cathedrals in Europe to browsing markets in China – she's done it all. Her only travel regret was not visiting Timbuktu.

Sharon was an avid bridge player. She always told us she wasn't very good, but she loved the game and even more, the camaraderie. Sharon played regularly with her beloved yaya sisters.

Sharon's passion was the opera. Her face lit up when conversing about upcoming operas or reminiscing about the operas she had attended. She loved the music, the storytelling, and the fanfare of the evening. Sharon spent many hours volunteering with Opera Orlando and hosting visiting musicians in her home.

One of Sharon's favorite places was Santa Fe, New Mexico; and she tried to attend the Santa Fe Opera every year. Her final resting place will be in the majestic Santa Fe mountains overlooking the beautiful desert.

Family and friends will remember and celebrate Sharon's life at the San Pedro Center, Winter Park, Florida, on All Saints Day, November first, 2025.

Sharon was very charitable, and donated to many organizations. In lieu of any flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.

"Take me to the mountains
For that's where I belong. Just birds and trees
And wind and leaves
And silence as my song." ~Bethany Wren
