"Aunt" Sharon and "Uncle" Bob were not my relatives, but they were family to us in every sense of the word. She was kind, caring, funny, and a friend to everyone she met. The entire Reck family will remember her always.

Sharon was (and is) an Angel - she exuded grace and mercy in her everyday life. I am blessed to have known this very special woman.
With my love always,

On behalf of the Mercy High School community, we offer our deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and former students of our beloved (Sr.) Sharon. We are very sorry for your loss and will always remember Sharon for her work as an inspiring librarian, educator, musical director, and more. May our prayers comfort those she leaves behind.

Not being Catholic but going to Mercy (class of 1976), "Sister" Sharon was exactly what I had always imagined a nun to be. She was kind, soft spoken, and gentle. Being in the plays that she directed are still some of my best high school memories. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Heaven has indeed gained a special angel
