Sharon A. Cooper, 81, of Wilmington, died 3:45 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2025.
She was born January 7, 1944 in Sligo, a daughter of George "Bud" and Betty (Osborne) Cooper.
Sharon, a member of the Springfield Friends Meeting, and a 1962 graduate of Wilmington High School, enjoyed reading, riding her bicycle, shopping, the Reds, Bengals and visiting with neighbors.
Survivors include a sister, Pam (Ronnie) Pierson; nieces, Tiffany (Michael Johnsen) Cooper and Amanda (Shawn) Swick; nephew, Levi (Jackie) Pierson; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends who visited and supported her through her final journey, Carolyn Harris, Eddie Pagett and Rosie Pagett; as well as her beloved cat Pixie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Johnny Cooper and Terry Cooper.
Sharon's family would like to thank the extended family and friends who came to visit over the last 5 months during her illness.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
