Sharon De Groot, 70, of Kellnersville, passed away November 30, 2025. Born on August 29, 1955, she is the daughter of the late Stanley and Isabell Johnson. She graduated from East High School class of 1973. She married Gerald "Jerry" De Groot on October 11, 1975 at First United Methodist. Sharon worked at University Meats and Cold Storage and TNT Crust. She enjoyed fishing , thrifting, and camping.
She survived by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" De Groot; four grandchildren, Tyler, and Gavin Brissette Cody, and Austin De Groot; two great granddaughters; siblings, Sandy Lardinois, and Bobby Johnson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Johnston, Joe (Sharon) De Groot, Kathy (Bill) Enz, Lynn De Groot-Oestrich, and Dale Lardinois; special friend, Rosie.
Preceded in death by her parents; children, David and Amy De Groot; siblings,Steve, Karen, James, Donald, and Larry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donna De Groot, Robert (Carolyn) De Groot, Dennis (Christine) De Groot, Hap Johnston, and Bob Oestrich.
In accordance with her wishes no formal services will be held.
In lieu of flowers all monetary donations/gifts/proceeds will go directly towards helping the De Groot family with funeral expenses.
