On Friday June 13, 2025 the Lord decided it was time for Sharon Sue Diaz to join him and her familys guardian angels in heaven. Sharon was born on December 6, 1953 in Danville, Arkansas. She lived there a short period of time before moving to California, where she would live the rest of her life.
Sharon graduated from Channel Islands High School in Oxnard, CA in 1972. She would then go on to continue her education at Sawyers College then Oxnard College. Sharon began working at the Oxnard Elementary School District in 1974 where she would continue to work for almost 40 years in the Payroll/Budget department. Within a year of starting she would meet another School District employee Charlie Diaz, who she would end up falling in love with and would eventually go on to marry. Sharon and Charlie got married on July 10, 1982. She would give birth to her only child Chuck on June 15, 1983.
Sharon was a beautiful person with a generous soul, who touched everyone she knew in her life. Sharon leaves behind her husband Charlie, son Chuck, her sister Jennifer Mayer, her niece Debra Estrada, her grand niece Renee Chandler, her two great grand niece and nephew Lynorah and Logan Chandler, her best friend Julie Reyes, her goddaughters Melissa and Monica Reyes, and many other extended family members.
