Sharon Gail Dunn passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on February 12, 2026. Born on September 13, 1939, she was the adored only child of Hollis and Ruby Reap. Sharon graduated from Hampton High School and was Homecoming Queen. She married the love of her life and soulmate, Larry Dunn, on July 19, 1959, and they remained married until his passing in 2016. She was a long-time member of Faustina Methodist Church.

Sharon was the heart and soul of her family and devoted her life to her husband and their three children. She was active in her community and volunteered for several community organizations including many years volunteering at what is now South Arkansas Development Center for Children and Families. Sharon occasionally worked outside the home, most notably helping her husband at their pharmacy, but she was first and foremost a homemaker. With razor-sharp wit and a feisty sense of humor, she was a fierce supporter and protector of her loved ones. She was immensely proud of her family and considered the raising of her children her most significant accomplishment.

Sharon joins her parents and her husband of 56 years in eternal rest. She is deeply missed by her beloved children Blake Dunn and wife Kelli, Todd Dunn and wife Rae Ann, and Laura Robertson and husband Malcolm, all of El Dorado; her grandchildren who affectionately call her Mimi, Marshall Dunn and wife Liz of Nashville, TN, Jerad Dunn of Anaheim, CA, Trenton Dunn and wife Camille of Prairie Grove, Laken Dunn of Rogers, Watson Dunn and wife Abby of Atlanta, GA, Spencer Dunn of Magnolia, John-Martin Burkland of Hot Springs, and Dillon Burkland of El Dorado. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, her dear friend and aide, Dianna Tubbs and all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be 2PM Tuesday, February 17th at Dunn Cemetery near Hampton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dunn Cemetery, PO Box 653, Hampton, AR 71744. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
