Sharon Kay Fewell, age 76, peacefully journeyed home on Saturday December 6th, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1949 in Springfield MO.

She was a member of Gibson Chapel Presbyterian Church; Mt . Moriah Baptist Church; Whole Life Christian Fellowship; New Beginnings Church; House of Hope Christian Fellowship in Denver, Colorado; and "Deliverance Temple" in Springfield, MO. She was a devoted member of each church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Wilburn Anderson; her son, Danny Fewell; granddaughter, Kyra; niece, Angela; brother in law, Larry D. Shockely Sr.; and brother in law, Rupert Conn.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E Fewell in Springfield, MO; son, Danny Fewell in Denver, CO; daughter, Jolana Burton; daughter Becky Brown; son Shawn Brown; sister Renee Conn; and Colleen Shockley. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Sharon grew up in Springfield and was a woman of deep faith, boundless love, and a heart dedicated to serving others. Sharon was devoted to her family and was deeply loved by all who knew her. Sharon will be remembered for her generous heart, infectious laugh, and quick wit.

Sharon worked at Zenith and Var-i-L Company. Sharon served her church faithfully as a Sunday School teacher and deaconess. Sharon was a ver active member of each church she served.

Sharon was an avid reader, with the Bible being her favorite literature. Sharon could be found singing her beloved church hymns while watching HGTV, eating gummy worms, and doing a word search. A day didn't go by without Sharon calling her family just to check in and tell them how much she loved them. Sharon believed in giving people their flowers before they were gone, and she did an outstanding job at that. Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and aunt. We will carry her wisdom with us always.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on December 18th, with the Reverend Jack officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, December 17th, in the funeral home.

2 Corinthians: 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." (KJV)

As We Look Back

As we look back over time
We find ourselves wondering
Did we remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides
To help and support us
To celebrate our successes
To understand our problems
And accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgement,
Courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let us have the very best?
And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?
If we have forgotten to show our
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
We're thanking you now.
And we are hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to us.
