Obituary of Sharon L. Foster
Sharon L. Foster, 75, Pittsburgh, longtime resident of Armagh, passed away on November 8, 2025. Born July 4, 1950, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late George "Dick", Sr. and Thelma "Tim" (Naylor) Horner. Also preceded in death by husband Kenneth W. Foster, daughter Cassandra Rae (Foster) Gill. Brothers George "Rick" Horner, Jr., Harold Seigh and Roy Stiffey. Brother-In-law Perry Foster.
Survived by children Cyndi Nelson and husband Buddy, Westville, FL; K. Michael Foster, Baton Rouge, LA; Christopher Foster, Pittsburgh; son-in-law Joseph P. Gill, Clymer; grandchildren Justin Nelson, Joss Gill, Joseph R. Gill, and Jacob Foster. Brothers-in-law Ed Foster and wife Sharon, Indiana; Denny Foster and wife Sandra, Indiana; sister-in-law Maryanne Foster, Bellaire, MD, and several young ladies who were like grandchildren and several other foster children and family members who had resided with Ken and Sharon.
Sharon loved to bake, a skill she taught all her children. She was a longtime Brownie Scout Leader. Sharon was very crafty, enjoying plastic canvases, making baby blankets, pillows and sewing for her family, she enjoyed sneaking out for the occasional smoke break.
The family would like express their appreciation to the staff at The Residence of Whitehall
Friends received 4-7 PM Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E, Philadelphia St., Armagh. Private interment Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association www.heart.org/donate or American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org/donate
