It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Anne Fredenburg, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Sharon passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. She was 78 years old.
Sharon was born on December 24th, 1946, in Pennellville, New York, to the late Charles and Eleanor LoVine. She grew up surrounded by the love of her siblings and carried that warmth throughout her life. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Fredenburg, Sr.; her son, Charles Fredenburg; her sister, Patty LoVine; and her grandson, Corey Bonnie.
A devoted homemaker, Sharon dedicated her life to creating a loving and nurturing home for her family in Fulton, NY. Her home was a haven filled with laughter, warmth, video games, and crafts; activities she adored and often shared with those she loved. She particularly cherished the times spent with her family, watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, James (Celina) L. Fredenburg Jr. of Fulton, NY; Kimberly (David) S. Martin of Pennellville, NY; and Christopher (Sondra) Fredenburg of Oswego, NY. She also leaves behind her siblings, Maryjane (Wayne) Hinman and Roy (Bonnie) LoVine, and her best friend, Susan Price. Sharon's legacy is carried on by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and an extensive circle of friends, each of whom she touched with her kindness and generosity.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all who have provided support and comfort during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Sharon's memory to her children for Sharon's monument, as a way to honor her legacy of kindness and love.
Sharon's presence will be profoundly missed, but the love and joy she brought into the world will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
