SHARON GILLS Obituary
Sharon worked at Standard Packaging and Deepwood. She had a passion for helping others and spent many years as a devoted caregiver. Sharon faced cancer three different times with remarkable strength, determination and an unwavering will to live. She cared deeply for her family and had a loving heart.
She was an avid reader, loved playing Kismet, visiting casinos, and trying her luck with the lottery. She was also a devoted watcher of General Hospital, Wheel of Fortune and the Cleveland Browns. Her love for animals – especially rescue dogs and cats – was a constant throughout her life.
Sharon was the wife of the late Kevin Tompkins and his children, Todd (Annette) Tompkins, Ray (Becky) Tompkins and their families; daughter of Janet and the late Glenn Gills; sister of Denise (Bill) Waite, Renee (Rich) Rozic; aunt of Lindsay (David) Guysinger, Brandon (Debra) Waite, Cassie Rozic and Joey Rozic.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday Jan. 24 at 1 PM at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby, where the family will receive friends Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
A private burial will be held at a later date at Willoughby Memorial Gardens.

Sharon was just as described. A loving caring person who I have known for over 25 years. She took care of my father as well as many others in her life. Her loving touch and presence will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.

The Staton/Kenney families would like to send their most sincere and heartfelt condolences. Kevin´s mother, Nancy loved Sharon like a daughter and I loved her like a sister. KT, Julian and Nancy now have their fourth for Hand and Foot.
