Sharon Lee Pardini Green, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 at age 86.
Sharon was born in
Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 6, 1940, to Al and Connie Pardini. Her early years were marked by a deep love for family and a gentle, thoughtful nature that stayed with her throughout her life. She had a happy childhood playing with her little brother Alan, her dolls, and a large dollhouse built by her dad. Her father was loving and patient, and her mother was a constant source of love and trust-someone Sharon always felt she could tell anything.
Sharon found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved sweets, especially dark chocolate and black licorice. As a young woman, she worked at Carol's Bakery on Highland Drive, where she sold bread, cakes, and pies. A lifelong morning person, she approached each day with quiet steadiness and care, often waking early to study or exercise.
During her early school years, Sharon briefly lived in Logan while her father served in the Army, an experience that was difficult for her. After his return, the family settled on Zenith Avenue, where she attended Highland Park Elementary. She treasured frequent trips back to Logan to visit her grandparents and aunt.
Though naturally reserved, Sharon formed deep and lasting friendships throughout her life. At South High School, she became part of a close-knit group of eleven young women who later became known simply as "club." Their friendship spanned more than 70 years and was even featured by KSL-TV. She also formed cherished friendships while pledging Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree and worked off and on as a social worker, teacher's aide, and middle school secretary.
Sharon met Terry when she was 13 and he was 17, and they came to know each other through church. After Terry returned from his mission and Sharon attended the University of Utah, they dated-off and on-for nearly five years. It took a few proposals before she finally said yes. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 30, 1965. Terry loved to tease Sharon and make her laugh, and he never missed a chance to compliment her. Those who knew them best could see clearly that Sharon and Terry shared a deep and abiding love.
Sharon and Terry were blessed with three sons: Scott, Mike, and Nate. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and devoted care. She took great pride in her home and was rarely far from a vacuum, always keeping things neat, orderly, and welcoming. Sharon was also a worrier, something her family lovingly teased her about. Her concern for others came from the depth of her love for them. She wanted everyone around her to be happy, cared for, and safe.
Her faith was an important part of her life. Sharon faithfully served in many callings in her ward over the years and found joy in serving others quietly and consistently. She and Terry served as temple workers in the Salt Lake Temple and later as service missionaries.
Sharon will be remembered as a kind, attentive person and a wonderful listener. She cared deeply about the people around her and was happiest when she was spending time with family, shopping, or going to lunch with friends. She was a trusted confidant to her close friends, who often sought her advice.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband Terry; her son Mike; her grandson Tate; her younger brother Alan; and her parents, Al and Connie Pardini. She is survived by her son Scott (Vianette); Mike's wife Shonell; her son Nate (Cami); four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
The family is especially grateful for the loving care provided by Canyon Hospice, and for the Christlike love extended by friends, members of the Parley's 5th Ward, the community at Sagewood, and the many dear friends who surrounded Sharon and her family with love and support.
Sharon's graveside service will be held Saturday, April 4 at 11:30 am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary mausoleum located at 3401 Highland Dr,
Millcreek, UT 84106
