Sharon Dyer Hix, cherished mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the age of 67.
Born in Atlanta, she was a daughter of Willene Gailey Dyer and the late Edgar Dyer. Sharon was a longtime Registered Nurse having worked at St. Mary's Hospital and in home health care for a number of years. She adored her family and never met a stranger. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hix.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her sons, Bryce Hix (Katie) and Steven Hix (Rayne); sister, Deborah Dyer Paulk and one grandson, Taran Hix.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow in the Hix Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
