Sharon Ann Holmes

Sharon Bingham Holmes, 80, of Arlington, formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Saint Francis Bartlett Hospital. Born July 26, 1945, she was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Blalock and her father, Earl Bingham. She was a homemaker and member of East Dyersburg First United Methodist Church.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Pastor Randy Echols.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by her husband, Karl Holmes; her sister, Janie Rice (Jimmy) of Arlington; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Maza, Amanda Taylor, both of Safford, AZ; four step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, her daughter, Traci Cozet Maddox; and three half-brothers, James Earl Bingham, Max Ray Bingham and Tim Blalock.
