Sharon Ann Honcharik

Sharon Ann Honcharik a devoted wife and mother, passed away on February 13, 2026. Born on October 27,1946 to James and Anna Brooks in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Graduated Taylor-Moosic High School class of 1964. Afterwards, she attended Lackawanna Junior College where she got an Associates in Business. She married Joseph Honcharik of Old Forge, Pennsylvania on September 6,1975. They moved to Columbia, then Ellicott City, Maryland shortly afterwards where she worked at the Institute for the Study of Human Systems. Afterwards she became a stay-at-home mom before returning to work at Howard Community College in the musical arts department. Sharon attended Saint Andrew Orthodox Church in Baltimore, MD where she participated in many activities and enjoyed the companion and fellowship of the parishioners at the church. Preceded in death is her brother James Daniel Brooks. She was survived by her husband and son Chris. Sharon and Joseph were married for 50 years.
