Sharon Kay Hudson

Sharon Kay Hudson, 80, of Arkansas City peacefully passed away on December 25, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. Graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2026 at Springside Cemetery. Kay was born June 25, 1945 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Bert and Sadie Sparks. Survivors include husband of 63 years, Frank; her sons, Darin and Shannon; Brothers Larry & Judy Sparks, Duane Sparks, sister Wanda & Dennis Williams all of Arkansas City; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, beloved son Danny, and sister Ilene. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Gentiva Hospice Care. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Kay was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in time spent with them. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, and the deep love she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will be cherished always. Arrangements will be handled by Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home & Crematory.
