Sharon Jackson, 82, of Webster City died Friday, September 26, 2025 at Van Diest Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Sharon Kay Anderson, daughter of Melvin and Elizabeth (Mesecher) Anderson, was born February 28, 1943 in Webster City. She graduated from Hampton High School in 1961. Sharon was united in marriage to Dennis Jackson on August 12, 1961 and to this union two children were born, Jeffrey and Crystal. The couple later divorced. Sharon worked at various businesses as a waitress and grocery clerk. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Electrolux for 30 years.
Sharon was the “Queen of Kringla”. She baked and sold to friends, family and co-workers. At her peak she baked 100 dozen between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and in her earlier years enjoyed camping, boating and square dancing.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Jackson of Woolstock; daughter, Crystal (Kent) Maxon of New Richland, MN; grandchildren, Allie Jackson (Colin), Ashley (Cole) Youngdale, Kaylee (Brandon) Espe, Keith Maxon; great-grandchildren, Dallas Jackson, Mya MacRunnel, Addilyn Youngdale, Sawyer Jackson, Harper Hayes, Isaac and Charlie Espe; brothers, Marvin (Ruth) Anderson of Dayton, Darrell (Sheila) Anderson of Alamogordo, NM, Dennis (Kathy) Anderson of Racine, WI and good friend, Mary Clausen.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Avery Jackson; nephew, Michael Anderson and niece, Kim Temple.
