Sharon Nadeen Jolly was ushered into the arms of Jesus March 5, 2025 at the age of 84. She was born on January 8, 1941 in Nyssa, Oregon, daughter of the late Willis E. and Jennie Koopman Findling. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Delano R. Jolly; brother, William F. Findling; and 2 grandsons, Curtis D. Jolly and Bradley R. Radford.
Sharon grew up quickly when, at the age of 14 and the oldest girl, her mom passed away suddenly. As a daughter of a farmer and second to the oldest, she was responsible to help raise her siblings. Known as "Sis" and truly loved by them, she gave selflessly to make sure they had a good meal and were well loved. At the age of 18, she met the love of her life, a military man. They would write letters back and forth and were married a year later. During her marriage, she found herself stationed away from the place she grew up and away from family. Even through the distance, she maintained a strong bond with her siblings. Some of the places she lived were Japan, Okinawa, Germany, Texas and retired with her husband in Arkansas. She also developed a number of friendships that have lasted a lifetime. No matter where life took her, she made life for her family so special and we are left with many wonderful memories.
Sharon was loved by all who knew her and demonstrated God's love to all she met through her compassion, selflessness, kindness and love. She enjoyed cooking and baking for others and rarely did you go home without some sort of goody. She was very creative and enjoyed ceramics and crafts.
As a wife and mother, she loved unconditionally. She supported her husband and was so proud of the man he was and never complained when they had to move, again. It was an adventure and she was always ready and willing. Her children remember all the times she sacrificed for them to make them feel special and loved. She taught them how to love fiercely and serve others. She was an amazing woman and her legacy will live on through all who knew her.
Throughout her life, she served in many different roles including: devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, giving sister, amazing aunt, faithful friend, and the list goes on. Sharon also worked for a microchip company where she was respected and valued by all, as she was someone who led by example.
Sharon is survived and will be missed greatly by her son, Delano W. Jolly (Leesa) of Cabot, Arkansas; daughter, Lori A. Parrott (Rob) of Aledo, Texas; stepdaughter, Monica Hall of Newberry, South Carolina; brothers, Duane Findling (Linda) and Terry Findling (Donna) of Boise, Idaho; sister, Louann Schoorl (Casey) of Vale, Oregon; stepsisters, Kathryn Lyle, Glenna McManus, Linda Crane, and stepbrother, Richard Renne. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Sharon's life on March 8, 2025 at 2:00pm at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 Loop Road,
Jacksonville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
