Sharon Jonas Obituary
January 19,2025. Sharon was born April 3, 1956, in Lamesa TX to Jimmy Brown and
Patsy White. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and savior. She had 3
siblings, Teddy Shaw of Andrews, Eddy Brown of Lamesa, Jimmy Murphy Brown Jr.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Darvin Jonas, Jimmy Brown Sr, Patsy
White, and brother Jimmy Murphy Brown jr. She is survived by her daughters Misty Leatherwood and husband Kris of Welch, Wendy Dutton and Husband Clay of Lubbock Penny Landry and husband Mike of Lubbock, Pamela Scott of Lubbock and grandchildren Sean and Kayla Krahmer, Kellie Leatherwood, David Scott, Tessa and Matthew Ramon, Jaxson
Scott and Avery Stephens and 5 great grandchildren. Sharon married Darvin Jonas on December 19,2003. Sharon worked at Acme Electric for over 30 years.
Visitation will be at Agape funeral Chapel on Thursday January 23 from 5-7 pm.
Services will be Friday January 24 at 2pm at Welch Baptist Church. Burial will follow at
Lamesa Memorial Park.
