Sharon Ann Dixon Kimbro

Sharon Ann Dixon (Kimbro) passed from this life on Friday, February 13, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1952 to Clifton Ray Sr. & Margaret (Oliver) Dixon in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. On March 31, 1972 she was married to Perry Haxton and to this union their three children were born. On January 21, 1989, she married Merle Kimbro Jr. in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He preceded her in passing.

She had worked as a social worker where she helped many people. She loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Elayna Sprague & husband Kendall, their children Kilee Jones & husband Brandon, Casey McBroom, Dalton Popejoy, and Alexis Popejoy. Great-grandchildren, Paityn, Taylor & Hayden.

Son, James Haxton, his children Colton Haxton & wife Haylea, Shalea Haxton and Jenna Haxton. Great-grandchildren, Karter, Kashtyn and Emerson.

Brother, Skip Dixon & wife Gay, Sisters; Brenda Hamilton and Diedra Dixon.

She is preceded by her parents, Ray & Margaret Dixon, her husband Merle Kimbro Jr., daughter Brenda Jo Haxton, brother DeWayne Dixon, sister-in-law Tonda Dixon and brother-in-law Richard Hamilton.

Visitation for Sharon will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2025 at the DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood from 5-7 p.m. Services will follow on Thursday, February 19, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Wynnewood with interment to follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.

Services are under the care of the DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
