Willie Malloy Kimbro Jr.

Willie Malloy "W.M." Kimbro, Jr., 83, of Yanceyville, NC passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Carolyn Hall Kimbro, who survives and the son of Willie Malloy Kimbro, Sr. and Etta Frances Byrd Kimbro Newton, both deceased.

W. M. retired from the Farm Service Agency, Department of Agriculture, for Caswell County. He also enjoyed farming and the time he spent outdoors on the farm. He was a member of the Southern Caswell Ruritan Club for 50 years and a board member of the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department. W. M. loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two daughters, Lisa Kimbro Hunt and husband Bill and Laurie Kimbro Fields and husband Chad, all of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Corbin Hunt and wife Micayla, Paige Hunt Barrow and husband Trey, Pierson Fields and wife Carley, and Christin Fields; and two great grandchildren, Stetson Hunt and Campbell Fields. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Dwight Kimbro; sister, Isabella Allred; and stepfather, Daniel Newton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington.

A graveside service will be conducted at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. by Elder Ray King.
