Born on January 4, 1941, in Red Lodge, Montana, Sharon was the cherished daughter of Charles Nivala and Wilma Wertanen. Her warmth and thoughtfulness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Sharon's early years in the picturesque town of Red Lodge instilled in her a love for nature and the simple joys of life. After completing her education, she embarked on a career that would see her contribute to the community in meaningful ways. Sharon dedicated many years of service to Hill Air Force Base, where she was known for her diligence and kind spirit.
