Sharon Nightengale

Cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sharon L. Nightengale, entered into rest on October 4, 2025 in McAllen, TX at the age of 72. Services will be Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, 1638 E State Highway 76, Branson. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, funeral services at 2:00 pm with burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
Sharon was born on June 3, 1953 in Fredonia, Kansas to Warren and Mildred (Hendry) Rowe. She married her high school sweetheart, Ed Nightengale on August 1, 1970 in Fredonia. She was a devoted wife to Ed and loving mother to their two daughters, Amy and Stacy. Sharon also worked alongside Ed in commercial printing for Kansas Bank Note Company in Fredonia. After retiring, they moved to Branson where they were amazing neighbors and active in their neighborhood and First Baptist Church in Branson. They also loved traveling and spending time with family, especially their grandchildren. Sharon missed meeting people and working so she went back to work at Silver Dollar City where she worked for 9 years. After Ed passed she continued traveling and seeing the grandkids. She took cruises, loved Branson shows, and doing anything outside. Gardening and canning were favorite pastimes for her.
She will be deeply missed by her family: daughters, Amy (Mike) Lassley, Watertown, South Dakota and Stacy Walker of Colfax, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jena (Silas) Henderson, Emma (Kaden) Cox, Melody (Brandon) Matson, Payton, Seth, Silas and Sophia Lassley and Kendryc, Alyssa and Ava Walker; great-grandchildren Ian Henderson and Holly Matson, her sister, Barbara (Richard) McClelland of Parsons, Kansas; along with extended family and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Nightengale, her parents, Warren & Mildred Rowe and her in-laws, Eldin & Bonnie Nightengale.
