Sharon Kay Patton was born on May 5, 1943 in Hamburg, Iowa. She was the daughter of Roy S. and Nora L. (Bell) Patton.
Sharon attended Rock Port High School. She then worked as a housekeeper.
Sharon passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Pleasant View nursing home in Rock Port.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Sylvester Patton and Nora Luetta Thornton; brothers, Archie, James, and Robert Thornton; and sisters, Carrie Grebe, Dorothy Resinger, and Donna DeWees.
Survivors include her son, Anthony “Tony” Patton; sister, Jean Erdman of Divide, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
Private family inurnment at Hunter Cemetery will occur at a later date.
