Sharon Ramberg Obituary
Sharon Ramberg, age 80, of Mentor, MN, passed away on Sunday, October 20th, at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 25th, at Gosen Lutheran Church, rural McIntosh, MN, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, rural Mentor. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday morning at the church. Arrangements are with Carlin Family Funeral Service of Erskine and messages of condolence may be shared at www.carlinfuneral.com.
Sharon Louise (Quant) Ramberg was born August 7, 1944 in Crookston, MN to John and June Quant. She passed away Oct. 20, 2024, peacefully with family by her side at Riverview Heath in Crookston, MN.
She lived all of her life (except when she & Donnie spent the winters in Exotic Quartzsite, AZ) in the Fertile/Mentor area. She attended school in Fertile, MN and also the school of Cosmetology in Thief River Falls, MN.
Sharon married Veryl Wilkinson, and they produced the most precious daughter ever – Tammy. Sharon worked as a hairdresser, restaurant owner/cook, bookkeeper, Oof-da Taco Goddess. She rarely sat still. Even in her busiest times, she always made time for praising God, her family & friends.
She married Donnie Ramberg in 1973. They were both very proud of the fact that on the first Monday in June 1979, they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Until her last peaceful breath, Sharon praised Jesus and spread his Love.
In 1982 they started a ‘little’ business called Oof-da Tacos. That business boomed for them and they were able to winter in AZ with their taco stand from 1985-2000 when they both retired.
Survivors include daughter Tammy (Steve) Olson of Hope, ND; brother Keith Ramberg of Mentor; sister Val Kolstad of West Fargo, ND; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and an eternal list of friends that she considered family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donnie; sister Eileen; brother-in-law Gary; sister-in-law Donna.
