Funeral Services for Sharon Rebecca Ramsay, age 62, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, will be held, Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church Picayune, Mississippi.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church Picayune, Mississippi.
Burial will be in Oak Vale Cemetery following the funeral service under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Todd Smith will officiate the service.
A native of Carriere, MS and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was the oldest of four children, she could not name a day she was not a born again believer. She loved music, she was able to pick up music by ear and play it on the piano. Sharon loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved her nieces and nephews and she enjoyed spending time with them. As her parents, we are so thankful we were able to care for her and make her comfortable everyday of her life. She inspired her family more than she ever realized.
She loved talking to her aunts and keeping up with things, she loved them deeply. Even in the most challenging times of her life, Sharon never lost her faith.
Sharon's prayer was "Our Father in Heaven, help us to grow more in you each day, in your name, Amen", Sharon wants everyone to love Jesus and serve him.
Sharon was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend and will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted parents, Jimmie Ramsay and Addie Rebecca "Becky" Ramsay ; brothers, Shannon (Kim) Ramsay, Shaun (Tonya) Ramsay, and Aaron (Tiffany) Ramsay; nieces and nephews, Austin, Dylan, Megan, Alex, Erin, Ryan, Aaron, Isabella, Genevieve; her aunts that she loved dearly, Peggy Hall, Rachel Pickering, and Vicky Fairchild; a host of friends.
