Sharon Rice Obituary
Kilmarnock, Virginia - Sharon Denise Rice (Niecey), 66, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
She was born on January 27, 1959, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Thelma Rice Smith and the late Moses Young. Sharon was known for her love of family, cherished friendships, and joy for dancing.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Marvel Rice; daughter-in-law, Shirley Rice; beloved stepson, Eric Fallin Jr; grandchildren, Terrik Rice, Aderius Frank, Mercedes Morris (Quist Morris), Amari Marsh, Myasia Marsh, Nia Rice, Kamara Washington, Malik Washington, and Zakiya Smith; her brother, Rashaan Smith (Naimah Smith); step-brother, James Crawford; and her sister, Keisha Smith, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her fiancé, Eric Fallin, Sr.; her brother, Timothy (Abdul) Rice; her step-sister, Dorothea Crawford; and her stepfather, James Joseph Smith.
A homegoing service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Berry O. Waddy's Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 14476 Northumberland Hwy, Burgess, VA 22432.
