Sharon Irene Robinson, of Lima, Ohio, passed away on her 85th birthday Wednesday November 5, 2025, at her home under hospice care. Sharon was born in Lima, Ohio on November 5, 1940, to Doyle M. Focht and Neva M. (Ferguson) Focht. Sharon married Albert "Jack" Robinson on January 20, 1984.
Sharon graduated on May 23rd, 1958, from Columbus Grove High School, in Columbus Grove, Ohio. Sharon spent much of her career working at Ex-Cell-O which was later purchased by Textron. She retired from Textron in 1995 when they closed the plant. Sharon was a beautiful friend and cousin to Janice (Archer) Owsley for over 80 years which is a very rare thing indeed. Sharon loved movies, swimming, roller skating, dancing, horseback riding, playing bingo, fishing, raising horses and dogs. She had an infectious laugh along with a great sense of humor. She dearly loved her pets and put her last little buddy Boomer a (Chihuahua mix) down in late April of 2025. She was a huge Cleveland Cavaliers fan and watched or recorded every game for her viewing pleasure. She had several favorite players and knew their stats! Sharon loved attending St. Rose Catholic Church services in Lima, Ohio. She was also a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles Lima 370. Sharon was beautiful, kind, and loving to all that knew her. She was extremely generous which went along well with one of her favorite things to do shopping! Heaven has truly gained a beautiful soul!
KJV – Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle & Neva Focht, brother Raymond Focht, husband Albert "Jack" Robinson. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Sharon was laid to rest alongside her husband Jack at a private family service.
