Sharon Kay Scobee passed away on October 15, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1945 in Greencastle to Frances Mae (Cox) and William Henry Scobee. She was the first baby born in 1945 in Putnam County, and her parents were given a silver cup to commemorate her birth. Sharon loved to read. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animals. She especially loved horses and cats. She took pride in being a horse owner.

Survivors include her daughter Glee Brinkman, husband David; grandchildren Rachel (Seth) Barrier, Erica (Dane) Burnett, Tyler (Jessica) Lotz, and Kaitlen (Michael) Holmes; 5 great grandchildren; brother Steve Scobee; niece Stacey (Jerry) Bean; nephew Sean (Marci) Scobee; and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Frances Scobee; and sister-in-law Sherry Scobee.

Sharon will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery, the morning of Friday, October 24th at 11AM. There will be a graveside service. Bousley Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
