Sherry Scobee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bousley Funeral Home - Coatesville on Dec. 13, 2024.
It is with great sadness that we announce that Sherry Lynn Scobee of Greencastle passed away on December 6, 2024. She is now in the arms of her precious Lord and Savior Jesus. She was born on February 15,1954 to Jacqueline (Spurlock) Wilson. Sherry held
several jobs over the years, but her life's passion was caring for her family and being a homemaker. She was also a very talented quilter, seamstress, loved to crochet and knit, and mastered many different crafts. She enjoyed researching her family's history
and recording their genealogy. Sherry loved Purdue basketball, the Green Bay Packers, March Madness basketball, baseball, fishing and flea markets. Sherry especially enjoyed spending time with her family the most.
Sherry leaves behind her loving husband Steve Scobee; children Stacey (Jerry) Bean and Sean (Marci) Scobee; grandchildren Jerica Bean, Jordan Bean, Emma Scobee, and Piper Scobee; mother Jackie Wilson, brother Mike McCammack, sister-in-law Sharon Scobee,
and Sherry's beloved dog "Jewel". As well as an aunt, uncle, niece, two nephews and several cousins. Family members that preceded her in death include her sister Cindy McCammack and step-father Rex Wilson.
Sherry was honored in a private family funeral at Harmony Baptist Church on December 12, 2024 and laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery. Bousley Funeral Home was entrusted with Sherry's care.
Donations can be made in Sherry's memory to the Putnam County Animal Shelter.
