TIPP CITY -- Sharon K. Shaner, age 81 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Sycamore Springs of Miamisburg. Sharon was born July 4, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Wayne and Rosemary Hartrum. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Larry just this past February. She is also preceded by siblings, Shelly Poore and Greg Hartrum. Sharon is survived by her children, Doug (Barbara) Manson of Miamisburg, Ohio and Tricia (Don) Williams of Gainesville, Georgia, Brenda (Connie) Shaner of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cindy Shaner of Cincinnati, Ohio and Barry Shaner of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and granddaughter Elizabeth Moore.
Sharon absolutely adored being a career beautician. The pinnacle of her career was opening her own salon in the early 1970's called Romeo and Juliet. She enjoyed shopping especially on QVC, knitting and needle point, and had a deep love for cats. Sharon's favorite pastime was watching Law and Order.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in loving memory of Sharon to Day City Hospice The Hope Foundation, 8039 Washington Village Dr. Dayton, OH 45458.
