Sharon A. Sims, age 81 of Ithaca, NY passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Born November 15, 1943 in Binghamton, NY she was the daughter of the late Ernest Howard Griffin and Wanda Joyce Ames Weber. She attended school in Binghamton and was employed with various banking institutions in New York and Florida until her retirement. On July 19, 1958 she married Claude J. Sims at Great Bend, PA. He passed away March 14, 2022.
Sharon is survived by her son, Ernest Sims; daughter, Claudette Yeager; brothers and sisters, Joyce Spence, Roberta Sims, Betty Slack, Marion Hurley, Jack Frost, Hilton Frost, Cheryl Spence, Kenneth Frost and Dolores, Bennett; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
There are no formal services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
