Sharon V. Sterling

Sharon V. Sterling, 57, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, peacefully transitioned in Washington, PA on March 20, 2026, surrounded by family.

Sharon was born on January 21, 1969, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest daughter of Cornell and Pamela (née Arnold) Sterling. She was raised in Clairton and Elizabeth. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward's class of 1987, where she was a member of the track team and competed in relay, long jump, and triple jump. In her early years, she also danced at Ken and Jean's dance studio.

Sharon was a committed and loyal employee while working at Peer Group and Alorica. She balanced work and family with grace. Though an introvert, those close to her knew her quick wit that would turn frowns and smiles into laughter. She treasured family cruises with her grandfather Ernest, parents, sister Robin, and son Terell. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Whether it was a small gathering or out singing karaoke, Sharon enjoyed her people. She also loved taking cooking classes.

Sharon is reunited with all of her grandparents, Ernest and Faye Sterling, Willie Arnold, Alice (née Simmons) Arnold, later Thomas, and her step-grandfather, Herbert Thomas. She is survived by her beloved son, Terell Williams, her parents, sister, Robin Sterling, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sharon's warmth, welcoming presence, and laughter, especially when with family and friends, will be forever remembered. She departed, leaving a legacy of love and joy.
