Sharon Rose (LeJeune) Tarpening, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 13, 2025. She was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, on June 14, 1958.

On July 3, 1982, Sharon married the love of her life, Steve Tarpening, in Coon Valley, Wisconsin. Together they built a beautiful life, first in California—where they welcomed their three children, Jennifer, Alan, and Brenda—before moving to Texas in 1994 and ultimately settling in Arizona five years later.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Steve Tarpening; her children Jennifer (Josh Sticht) of Tucson, AZ; Alan Tarpening of Tolleson, AZ; and Brenda (Chris) Stambaugh of Laveen, AZ; and her cherished grandchildren Cady Sticht, Sawyer Sticht, and Finley Sticht, all of Tucson, AZ.
