Sharon Ann Tschider
BISMARCK - Sharon Ann Tschider passed away on July 17, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 21, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1919 N 2nd St., Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20 at Parkway Funeral Services, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck with a prayer service starting at 6:30 PM. Sharon was born in Bismarck on November 18, 1937 to Norman Nelson and Lillian Bobb Nelson. Sharon attended St. Mary's schools and graduated in 1955. She attended St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN for one year before Dick asked for her hand in marriage.
Sharon and Dick were married in Bismarck on August 10, 1957 at St. Mary's Church. They moved to Fargo and then Grand Forks where Dick completed his education. Sharon helped support the family doing home day care and typing papers for students.
After graduating with his Masters, Sharon and Dick moved to Bismarck to raise their family and begin their lifelong commitment to St. Alexius hospital and the Benedictine Sisters.
Sharon was proud of her community and actively involved in her Church. She spent endless hours volunteering, sharing her faith, and love for life and the beauty of the world with others. She and Dick were blessed with seven children - four boys and three girls. Sharon was a devoted mother who was always there when they needed her. She spent endless hours giving rides, attending school events, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the never-ending laundry.
Sharon and Dick built a cabin on Lake Isabel and they loved spending time there. Sharon taught her children to water ski and spent a lot of time pulling them behind the boat. Sharon always made sure the 4th of July was a fun celebration complete with fireworks! After raising her children, Sharon had a successful career as a Real Estate Agent and achieved one million dollars in sales her first year. This was quite an accomplishment at that time! Their love of sun and sand brought Sharon and Dick to Marco Island, Florida where they purchased a home. Sharon spent winters in Marco with family and friends enjoying the amazing beaches and gorgeous sunsets. Sharon loved shelling and spent endless hours on the beach looking for the perfect shell. She taught her grandkids and great-grandkids about shelling, and they looked forward to shelling with Grandma on their visits. Sharon also met many dear friends on Marco and enjoyed spending time with them over the years.
If you knew Sharon, you knew that every day was a gift…everyday was an adventure. She truly had a zest for life! Sharon saw the beauty in the smallest things in life never missing the opportunity to share it with others. Whether working at the pumpkin patch, cutting bittersweet in the woods or simply taking her grandkids on nature walks, Sharon made it special! Her mantra was "Seize the Day!"
Sharon loved to entertain and genuinely had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved. You were never at her home without a diet coke, glass of wine or a piece of her famous fudge. Every holiday was special…her door was always open…the more the merrier she would say!
Sharon is survived by her sister, Linda Mullen; children: Steve Tschider (Sheila), Lynda Stamaris (Jeff), Pam Heinrich, Mark Tschider (Stacey), Rick Tschider, Lisa Tschider and Scott Tschider; eleven grandchildren, Lindsy Nordeen, Sarah Tschider, Matthew Tschider, Alex Tschider, Nick Tschider, Evan Tschider, Michael Heinrich, Jessica Heinrich, Anders Hanhan, Erik Hanhan and Talon Tschider; eight great-grandchildren: Foster Nordeen, Brynn Tschider, Scarlett and Knox Tschider, Olivia and Boe Tschider, River Heinrich, Piper Heinrich, Elijah Enget; and former daughters-in-law: Leann Benson and Robin Kringlie.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, her parents; and granddaughter, Ana Sophia.

I just want to offer our deepest sympathy to Sharon´s family.
I haven´t seen her for many years, but I just remember how much she loved decorating for Christmas. I was lucky to have been at one of her get togethers and sampled special fudge.
She had a twinkle in her eyes and a beautiful smile.

Deepest sympathy to Pam & Linda and the rest of Sharon´s family. Your Mother was a very classy lady.
I would see Sharon every year when we would be out looking for our garden plants at the nurseries. I would also run into Sharon at the airport in Florida once or twice a year. Was funny how our paths crossed. Sharon will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
