Sharon Ruth Tucker-Eifler, 67, of Bartlesville, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Dewey.
Sharon was born January 5, 1959, in
Guymon, Oklahoma, to Louis Marion and Norma Jean (Whitfield) Scarbrough. After completing her GED, Sharon earned her CNA nursing degree.
Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Tom Tucker, on March 8, 1977. Several years later Sharon met Eric Eifler at a home healthcare job, initially bonding over a rather gassy client. They married on December 23, 1994.
Sharon loved working as a CNA, especially as a geriatric and home health nurse. In addition to healthcare, Sharon was also a professional artist for more than 50 years. She painted murals on walls for Southern Nazarene University in
Bethany, OK. She painted seasonal murals on windows for several local businesses in Bartlesville. She also painted the mural on the original Delaware Trading Post on Hensley Blvd., in Bartlesville. She enjoyed many kinds of art, drawing from nature or native cultural inspiration. Like most artistic people, Sharon's interests varied often. In that respect she was well versed in many subjects.
Sharon never knew a stranger. Regardless of whether she could afford it or not, she would help you if she had it to give. That seems in need of recognition in our modern era.
Her passions in life included connecting with friends and finding inspiration for her art in everyday life. If you knew Sharon, you had a buddy for life. Sharon's medical issues often were a barrier. If her health had not kept her tied down, she would have no doubt been a well-versed explorer.
Sharon was not a four-star chef or astronaut, but she was a daughter, a sister, a friend, then the stars aligned and she became a mother, twice. Sharon did not have to cook or do anything specific. She would give you anything you needed if she had it to give.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Norma Jean Scarbrough; daughter, Dona Tucker-Lively and husband Ken; son, Tommy Tucker; siblings, Dale Scarbrough and wife Linda, Irvin Scarbrough and Michael Arroyo; six grandchildren, Destony Tucker, Keith Lively, Cody Tucker, Kyle Tucker, Righly Tucker, and Aiden Tucker; one great-grandchild, Adrian Tucker.
