Sharon Lynn Turner age 69, of Smithville passed away at her residence Thursday October 9, 2025. She was born August 2, 1956, to her parents, Jo Doris Adcock and the late Bro. Earl Adcock. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Turner. Ms. Turner was a Baptist, worked in real estate and was a homemaker. Sharon had a love for animals, especially cats. She is survived by 2 children, Stephanie Turner (Charmian Leong) of Smithville and Corey Turner of Smithville; grandchildren, Baylee (Ethan) Largent, and Ashley Phillips; great-grandchild, Ruby Largent; mother, Jo Doris Adcock of Smithville; brother, Kevin (Judy) Adcock of Smithville; niece and nephew, Preston Adcock and Rachel Adcock. Family and friends will gather at DeKalb Memorial Gardens for a graveside service and internment on Monday October 13, 2025, at 1 PM. There will not be any services or visitation held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Animal Coalition in memory of Sharon. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Turner family.
