Sharon graduated from San Bernardino's Pacific High School and Chaffey Junior College where she trained as a dental assistant. Although the family lived in Vacaville and Redlands through most of Sharon's childhood, they often visited friends and family in Wasco. It was there Sharon fell in love with Stanley Voth, marrying him on June 27, 1970, at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Redlands. The couple moved to Wasco where Stanley farmed, and Sharon began work for a dentist.
Sharon and Stan couldn't wait to start a family of their own and their two girls, Amy and Sara, meant the world to them. The family were avid skiers, enjoying time at June Lake, sporting, musical and dancing events.
Trained as a classical singer, Sharon sang with the Masterworks Chorale as well as church choirs. She often called upon to preform as a soloist as well as singing in trios and duets with friends Mellisa, Nancy, and Priscilla. As well as her daughter Sara and granddaughter Julia. Her beautiful soprano voice was unsurpassed.
Music wasn't Sharon's only talent, she was also an excellent seamstress, sculptor, and gardener. Her house looked as perfect as Sharon always did. Because of her love of gardening, she opened the Garden Gallery Nursery in 1990. Her final job was working in a CPA office for Tim Powell where her talents were so appreciated. She joined Stan in his love for flying, where she even soloed flew in 1983.
Because of her love for the Lord, church was always important to Sharon. Choir, women's ministries, music committee, and bible studies were an integral part of her life.
Sharon treasured her time with her seven grandkids. Especially memorable were the yearly Christmas Steak and Lobster Grandchildren Dinners, attending their various events, and all the times they would drop in for a meal.
Sharon leaves to mourn, her husband Stanley of 54 years, daughters Amy (Micheal) Bloemhof and Sara (Steve) Paul, her grandchildren Ellie (Colton), Brady, Emma, Caleb (Halle), Kyle, Julia, and Nathan. As well as great grand baby June Byrd due in May. She also leaves her mother, Loyce Corcoran, sister Judy (Mattew) Norton, and brother Randy Corcoran and their families.
